The other direction is slower, because Airbnb and Booking.com decide when to read your calendar — Airbnb says up to 3 hours, and Booking.com’s “Import now” button makes it immediate. If a clash slips through that window, the direct booking is cancelled and refunded automatically and you’re told; the platform reservation is never touched.

Bookeba only reads the public calendar links the platforms provide for exactly this purpose. It never touches your listing, your extranet, or the data of guests who booked through them. Direct bookings from your own channels — your website, your Instagram, word of mouth, returning guests who contact you directly — are your business. Each platform has its own rules about contacting guests off-platform; read them before messaging guests you met there.

No, and you shouldn’t. They bring you guests who have never heard of you. Bookeba is for the guests who already have — repeat visitors, referrals, anyone who found you some other way. Those bookings shouldn’t cost you 15%.

Yes. When you add a place you say where it’s listed today — Airbnb, Booking.com, or nowhere — and if it’s nowhere, there’s simply nothing to sync: your Bookeba calendar is the calendar. You can use it exactly like that, as a booking page with a card form. Tick a platform later if you ever join one.

If Booking.com shows “Sync calendars” under Rates & Availability, yes. They only hand out calendar links to properties with one unit per room type and 20 room types or fewer — whole homes, apartments, and guesthouses that list each room separately are fine; an aparthotel with “two identical studios” isn’t, and neither we nor anyone else without a partner API can sync it. If the menu item is missing, that’s Booking.com saying no, and we’d rather tell you now than after you’ve paid. Airbnb works for every listing.

No. Guests pay you directly through your own Stripe account and Bookeba never touches the money. You pay a flat $19 a month for your first live place and $14 for each one after, and $12 from your 5th. That’s it.

Yes. Setup asks one thing per screen — a photo, the description, your calendar link, your Stripe account — with a step-by-step guide next to each, written for someone who has never heard the word iCal: where to click on Airbnb, what to copy, where to paste it here. The page itself takes a few minutes; Stripe then asks for your ID and bank details, which takes about ten more.

A clean page for your place: photos, description, house rules, a calendar that only shows genuinely free nights, and a price that’s just your price. They pay by card on Stripe’s secure page and get a confirmation with their booking details, your contact information and your cancellation policy.
